One April in Boston
Author and tour guide Ben Edwards, whose ancestors lived in colonial Boston, introduces students to the city’s history in a way that no one else can. Ben was able to trace his Edwards ancestors back over three centuries. Four generations of his family lived in Boston between 1700 and 1852 and Ben’s book One April in Boston tells of their connection to the Sons of Liberty and Paul Revere. The book also has a wonderful underlying theme – it teaches the power of imagination and the value of goal setting to children. Click here to learn more about the book and hear audio samples.
