Twitter asks one simple question “What are you doing?”. The response must be in under 140 characters and can be sent by mobile texting, instant message or the web. Educators are using Twitter to connect with like minded teachers and others passionate about the field of education in order to collaborate or ask for advice. These connections can provide inspiration, help you fix a problem or introduce you to new products, resources or methods. That’s why I’m on Twitter! You can follow me @bostonhistory. Still skeptical about the value of Twitter to you and your students? The links below are to posts written by teachers for teachers about this free service and are sure to provide you with a greater understanding of how Twitter can benefit you and those you teach. I believe you’ll enjoy the Twitter for Teachers video as well.
